ZORYA Turbines: Pioneering Emergency Repair in Iran
First-ever domestic emergency repair of Zorya gas turbines by Niroo Mechanic Asia at South Pars Phase 10 Refinery
Emergency repairs of Zorya gas turbines were conducted for the first time in Iran by Niroo Mechanic Asia Engineering Company, in collaboration with the 10th South Pars Refinery. The MGT30/DU80 model turbines, critical for production stability and energy transmission, were successfully repaired on-site and returned to operation. These turbines require precise and regular maintenance for optimal performance.
Previously, such repairs were not performed domestically due to the need for specialized equipment. However, with the establishment of an advanced repair workshop at the 10th refinery, the necessary infrastructure for emergency repairs was created. This marked the first successful on-site emergency repair of these turbines in Iran. After completion, the turbines were promptly reintegrated into production.
The repair process was completed two months ahead of schedule, resulting in significant cost savings and enhanced reliability of the refinery's critical equipment. Additionally, this project has strengthened domestic technical expertise in gas turbine maintenance. Niroo Mechanic Asia Engineering Company is now equipped to perform similar repairs at other refineries.
This achievement reflects the dedication and expertise of Niroo Mechanic Asia Engineering Company's engineers, technicians, and staff. Their commitment and technical capabilities have not only demonstrated the company's proficiency in emergency gas turbine repairs but also contributed to advancing Iran's engineering knowledge.
Moving forward, Niroo Mechanic Asia Engineering Company aims to leverage this experience to provide even more efficient and effective engineering services to the oil and gas industry, further supporting the growth and stability of this vital sector.
